Latest condos give new meaning to South Florida luxury

CORAL GABLES—Wine coolers and custom cabinetry are definitely upscale features in the ever-escalating levels of luxury in new South Florida condos. But Villa Valencia here brings it to new levels of what they describe as ultra-luxury.

That means condos with square footage similar to single-family homes. And some of what are termed one-of-a-kind wellness features for residents. And even a lot of comfortable touches for their guests.

“Villa Valencia fulfills a vision to unite estate-like living and a condominium setting without compromise,” said Rishi Kapoor, CEO of Location Venture, the developer of the 39 residences at Villa Valencia, which just started sales.

Begin with sizes. The units will range from 2,900 to 3,276 square feet on single levels. But the “villa in the sky” of the 13-story building will be 6,263 square-foot Penthouse. It will have a private elevator and pool, and a 4,600-square-foot terrace, among other amenities.

His-and-her saunas

For residents, the robust amenity program will include a hammam (steam or Turkish bath), his-and-her-saunas, hydrotherapy plunge pools and state-of-the-art fitness facility with yoga, Pilates and weight training. And a 78-foot resort-style pool with a lap lane and waterfall complemented

Guests of residents are also offered amenities. Residents will entertain them comfortably with several venue choices that include alternatives to in-home hosting. A team room with a coffee bar is one choice, while another room featuring a full-size kitchen and full bar open to the pool deck. An entertainment room will have billiards, as well as golf and driving simulators. For those who prefer work, an executive room offers video
conferencing. A library with an outdoor terrace overlooking a lush park is an even quieter option.

And pets are not left out, either. A park will have a play area for dogs with an exercise run.

“For homeowners who want a little more, customization options are available, from flooring and millwork to upgraded technology.

Valet parking, 24-hour concierge and private garages make security and discrete living a priority,” adds a news release.

The 13-story Villa Valencia is located at 515 Valencia Avenue. Completion is anticipated for summer of 2021. Condo prices will start at $1.65 million.
